1. About Yuva Yatri

Yuva Yatri is a youth-led initiative focused on connecting people with nature, adventure, and self-growth through immersive travel experiences. We are not a tour operator, our treks and camps are purpose-driven experiences built around wilderness exploration, spiritual connection, and community engagement. Expect adventure, not luxury.


2. Code of Conduct & Discipline

Our events demand a spirit of discipline, respect, and cooperation:

  • Participants must adhere to the schedule, instructions, and guidelines issued by our coordinators, trek leaders, and volunteers.
  • Any kind of misconduct, misbehavior, or verbal abuse towards staff or fellow participants will result in immediate removal from the camp or trek, without refund.
  • Anyone voluntarily leaving the event midway will do so at their own responsibility. Yuva Yatri will not be liable for travel, stay, safety, or expenses post-departure.
  • Disputes among participants must be resolved privately. We are not responsible for personal disagreements or conflicts.

3. Strictly Prohibited

The following are strictly banned during all events:

  • Smoking, tobacco, alcohol, and substance use
  • Use of abusive language
  • Any illegal activity

Violation will lead to immediate expulsion from the event, without refund.


4. Bookings & Payments

  • Registrations can be made only through our official website or at our authorized office counters.
  • If advance payments are made and an event’s plan is altered due to weather, government regulation, or logistical reasons, participants must cooperate and pay additional charges (if any).

5. Communication Hours

  • You may reach us via call or WhatsApp between 10 AM – 7 PM, Monday to Friday.
  • In case of conflicting information, the details mentioned on our official website shall be considered final.

6. Itinerary & Schedule Changes

  • Natural calamities or unforeseen issues may lead to changes in the plan. Yuva Yatri holds the right to modify the schedule.
  • Additional costs for accommodation, food, or transport due to such changes must be borne by the participant.
  • No refund will be provided if the event is disrupted due to acts of God (rainfall, landslides, curfew, etc.).

7. Transport & Travel

  • Transport is arranged based on headcount. No specific seat preferences can be entertained.
  • In case of railway travel, ticket confirmations are subject to availability.
  • Delays due to roadblocks or weather conditions are beyond our control.

8. Accommodation & Meals

  • Separate accommodation will be arranged for male and female participants wherever possible.
  • Only vegetarian food (including Jain options where possible) will be served.
  • Custom food requests will not be entertained during camps.
  • Damage to property, tents, or vehicle seats by participants will result in recovery of repair costs.

9. Cancellation & Refunds

Refund policy is based on the total camp fees:

  • 15+ days before departure: 10% deduction
  • 2 to 15 days before departure: 50% deduction
  • Within 48 hours or after departure: 90% deduction

Refunds are processed within 7–12 working days post-approval.


10. Rescheduling Policy

Rescheduling is permitted only once in emergency situations like:

  • Sudden Exam Schedules (with college ID and call letter)
  • Medical emergencies (with MBBS-signed certificate)

Reschedule requests must be submitted at least 5 days before departure.


11. Transfer of Participation

Participation can be transferred to another individual with:

  • 10% deduction for local events
  • 20% deduction for national events

Transfer requests must be made at least 3 days before the event.


12. Medical Policy

  • Basic first aid will be available during all events.
  • In medical emergencies, we will inform the emergency contact provided. All treatment or hospitalization costs must be borne by the participant.
  • Participants with medical conditions are requested to consult their doctors before registering.

13. Photography & Media Usage

  • Photos/videos taken during events may be used by Yuva Yatri for promotional purposes.
  • Sharing content for commercial use without permission is prohibited.

14. Personal Data & Group Sharing

  • By registering, you agree to share your name and number in group WhatsApp chats used for coordination.
  • Your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

15. Luggage & Belongings

  • Each participant is responsible for their personal items and baggage.
  • Lost and found items will be retained for 7 days. Claimants must provide proof.

16. Adventure & Trekking Guidelines

  • Treks involve physical exertion and are not suitable for those with serious health conditions.
  • All minors (under 18) must submit a signed parental/guardian consent form.
  • No shortcuts, racing ahead, or deviation from the route is permitted.
  • Trek guides hold the authority to stop the participant’s journey mid-way in case of medical unfitness or violation.

17. Legal Jurisdiction

All legal disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Surat, Gujarat only. Participants must also follow local laws during the journey. Yuva Yatri is not responsible for any legal consequences resulting from participant behavior.
